You May Qualify for a
Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Clinical Trial
At the Allegheny General Hospital Department of Neurosurgery,
surgeons Donald Whiting, MD, E. Richard Prostko, MD, and
Michael Oh, MD, are participating in a clinical trial to evaluate the
safety and effectiveness of the ACADIA® Facet Replacement System
for those suffering from LSS. This investigational device is designed
to treat LSS without fusion while maintaining the motion of the spine.
AGH Neurosurgery is one of up to 30 sites in the U.S. approved for
inclusion in this study.
Male and female patients between the ages of 21 and 85 who
have been diagnosed with LSS and undergone at least six months
of non-surgical treatment (including epidurals, physical therapy or
medication) may qualify for this study. For more information, please
contact Allegheny General Hospital’s Department of Neurosurgery
at 412.359.4272 or email email@example.com.
