BENEFICIARIES: The National MS Society mobilizes
people and resources to drive research for a cure and to
address the challenges of everyone affected by multiple
MISSION: The Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter serves
nearly 14,000 people living with MS in 56 counties of
northern, central and western Pennsylvania. Our goals are
simple: to enhance programs and services, raise more money
and increase our commitment to MS research.
KEY EVENTS/INITIATIVES: Help support our life-changing programs and services by joining our community of
fundraising events, and volunteer, walk, run or ride to show the
power of our connections. Join Walk MS, a simple but incredibly powerful way to share in the hope for the future. Take
on the challenge of cycling to make a powerful statement at
one of our Bike MS events. Run for a reason in the Pittsburgh
Marathon! Share the spirit of the holidays by donating to our
Holiday Gift Giving program. Do-It-Yourself, and create your
own event to raise awareness and
funds in new and creative ways.

BENEFICIARIES: People of all ages with intellectual and
physical disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum, as
well as their families and caregivers.
MISSION: McGuire Memorial is a co-sponsored ministry
of the Felician Sisters of North America and the Diocese of
Pittsburgh. Forming a joy-filled community of Christian
believers, McGuire Memorial is committed to providing comprehensive services to people with intellectual and physical
disabilities that may include complex medical conditions and
offers supportive services to their families and caregivers.
KEY EVENTS/INITIATIVES: Throughout the year,
special events, such as The Special Auction for Special People,
Feb. 28, 2015 and The McGuire Memorial Golf Classic,
June 1, 2015, help McGuire Memorial raise funds that continue
to enrich and broaden the personalized educational and care
needs for every individual we serve, such as: students at The
School at McGuire Memorial; adults at our Employment Option
Center; children and adults in residence on-site in McGuire’s
Intermediate Care Facility; or adults living in one of McGuire
Memorial’s Community Homes.
